Your mic,
minus the noise.

Prism is open-source virtual audio middleware for Windows. It sits between your microphone and your apps, removes noise in real time, and shows up as a normal mic in Discord, Zoom, OBS, or anything else.

Hear the difference

Recorded in my hostel while someone next door was playing music loudly. Same mic, same moment, with Prism off and then on.

With Prism

Try it in your browser

Record a few seconds, pick a model, and hear Prism clean it up. This online demo uploads your clip to the Prism cloud cleaner — the desktop app does the same processing entirely on your machine.

Tap to record 0:00

Mic access is requested only when you press record.

Who it's for

gaming

Party chat

Mechanical keyboards are loud, and your squad hears every key. Prism cleans your mic for Discord and in-game voice, and because it runs on CPU it doesn't take frames from your game.

calls & work

Meetings from real rooms

Fans, generators, traffic, a busy household. You don't need a quiet room to sound clear on Zoom or Teams, and it works the same in every meeting app at once.

streaming

Streams without an RTX

Noise removal like NVIDIA Broadcast, without needing an NVIDIA card. Prism shows up in OBS as a regular microphone and runs on any machine.

What it does

live now

AI noise removal

Removes fan noise, keyboard clatter, and background hum while you talk, not just between words. Two models to pick from: RNNoise (very light) or DeepFilterNet3 (stronger). You can switch them live and set how aggressive the cleanup is.

phase 3 · next

Voice isolation

Background voices are harder than background noise. The goal here is separating your voice from roommates, the TV, or music in the room, so only you end up in the call.

How it works

  1. 01

    Install

Install VB-Audio Virtual Cable once, then run Prism.

  2. 02

    Pick the mic

In Discord, Zoom, OBS, or any app, choose CABLE Output as your microphone.

  3. 03

    Talk

That's it. Noise removal is on by default. Switch models or adjust the strength while you talk if you want to.
